1st RV Boondocking Experience // Surprise Visitor // Had to LEAVE ?

We are the Loftis Party of Six! We sold everything to buy a truck and 5th wheel to travel and follow our dreams!! We are a Full Time RV Family Living Life to the FULLEST!! Our 1st trip away from home was also our 1st Boondocking experience, however it did not go as planned! We got in late and my battery was dead so I had to run the generator late at night to help cool us down!! We stayed at Pinewoods Lake Campground on the Mark Twain National Forest in Southern Missouri. It is a beautiful spot and loved it!! However our stay was cut short because we were having water pump issues and NO WATER!! Plus we had a surprise visit from my dad who drove 3 hours to surprise the kids with Chasons favorite tricycle and to fix Grady’s brakes on his bike! We tried to figure out the water pump issue but couldn’t figure it out so after my dad left we loaded up to find a place with water and electric! We loved the freedom of boondocking and hope to do it again sometime soon!!
